This fabulous bird was one of my all-time favorite zoo friends from my years as a bird keeper. He is a green junglefowl, the father of all fowl, the original chicken. The first day he arrived at the aviary and his pink comb flopped over his face like a tam, someone said we should name him Emeril the Gourmet Chicken.
