Mariposa Monarca 10

from $30.00

Monarch butterflies have long been an important part of the culture of Mexico. The native people saw thousands of them arriving every fall to return to their wintering grounds, and thought they brought with them the souls of their ancestors, and so Diá de los Muertos was born and continues to be celebrated to this day, with the butterflies being a large part of the celebrations. I grew up in Moralia, Mexico, and have been inspired by the culture for my entire life.
