New York City Kitty - Original Artwork - Watercolor

This piece was commissioned by a client in Manhatten who wanted the peice to reflect her New York lifestyle, hence the choice of her favorite quilt on the bed, the Louise Bourguoise painting on the wall and the book that was the #1 best seller at the time. The story gives an actual personality to the city of New York. I have so much fun when I am given ideas that will stretch my painting and drawing skills a bit. This is truly one of those. Copying the art was the hardest part.
